Playa del Carmen is where many of our couples say “I do”: Caribbean water, white sand and resorts steps from the beach. Romanza is a destination wedding photography and video team in the Riviera Maya, and we photograph weddings at resorts in Playa del Carmen and along the coast.
We plan the day around the light, the ceremony space and your resort’s schedule, so you can be present while we capture the getting ready, the ceremony, the portraits and the party. Every couple works with the same team for photo, video and drone.

We work at resorts in Playa del Carmen and across the Riviera Maya, including Sandos Caracol, Grand Palladium, Hyatt and Royalton Splash. If your resort is not on the list, ask us: we travel to wherever you are celebrating.

Playa del Carmen is warm all year. The driest, most comfortable months are roughly November to April, while summer is hotter with occasional rain. We plan your schedule around the light in any season.
Popular dates, especially weekends in high season, fill up early. We recommend contacting us as soon as your resort and date are confirmed.
Yes. We photograph weddings at resorts in Playa del Carmen and across the Riviera Maya, and we also cover Cancun, Costa Mujeres and Tulum.
Rain is usually brief and can create dramatic photos. We work with your resort coordinator on a backup space and adjust the timeline on the day.
